About me

Though Winner of countless awards and my work selected for juried photo exhibits, nothing compares to the beauty and the truth one finds in the art of photography. That one moment where you happen to be in the right place at the right time, or have had the patience of Job waiting for that one shot you fervently hope will come your way, it is always a journey that will last in one's memory bank forever. In 1819, the English romantic poet, John Keats wrote these words in his poem "Ode on a Grecian Urn:" "Beauty is truth, truth beauty--that is all ye know on earth and all ye need to know." The camera is our truth. It captures the soul that lays beneath the surface... the ultimate truth...and beauty...and sometimes the ugly side of life, but always the truth. And for that, we who call ourselves photographers could not be more blessed.
